Managing Brands

Learn how to view, edit, and manage your brands in CampaignOps.

Viewing All Brands

Brand List

  1. Go to Brands in sidebar
  2. See list showing:
    • Brand name
    • Description
    • Version (v1, v2, etc.)
    • Last updated
    • Quick actions (Edit, Delete)

Brand Details

Click any brand to see:

  • Complete profile
  • All sections/settings
  • Version history
  • Usage statistics

Editing a Brand

Step 1: Open

  1. Go to Brands
  2. Click brand to edit

Step 2: Navigate Sections

The brand editor includes multiple sections accessible via sidebar:

  • Basic Info - Core brand information
  • Tone & Voice - Tone sliders and voice settings
  • Content Guidelines - Phrases, CTAs, channel preferences
  • Advanced - Claims policy, compliance settings
  • Knowledge Base (Pro+) - FAQs, guidelines, examples, documents
  • Analytics (Pro+) - Brand completeness and usage statistics
  • Intelligence (Pro+) - AI-powered suggestions and improvements
  • Content (Pro+) - View all content generated for this brand
  • Insights (Pro+) - Usage insights and performance metrics
  • Rules (Pro+) - Campaign rules and module configurations
  • Strategy (Pro+) - Content strategies and calendars
  • Audience (Pro+) - Multiple audience segments
  • Benchmarks (Pro+) - Performance benchmarks and targets
  • Library (Pro+) - Reusable content library
  • Competitors (Pro+) - Competitor tracking and analysis
  • Scoring (Pro+) - Custom content scoring rules

Step 3: Make Changes

  1. Click "Edit" or navigate to the section you want to edit
  2. Modify any field:
    • Brand info
    • Target audience
    • Value proposition
    • Tone sliders
    • Proof points
    • Forbidden phrases
    • Knowledge base entries
    • Campaign rules
    • Module configurations
    • Content strategies
    • And more...

Step 4: Save

  1. Review changes
  2. Click "Save"
  3. New version created automatically (v2, v3, etc.)

Note: Versions preserve history - you can always revert.

Brand Versions

Understanding Versions

Every edit creates a new version:

  • First brand = v1
  • First edit = v2
  • Second edit = v3

Why versions matter:

  • History preserved - See brand evolution
  • Module consistency - Modules reference specific versions
  • Rollback option - Use previous versions if needed

Viewing History

  1. Open brand
  2. Click "Versions" tab
  3. See all versions:
    • Version number
    • Creation date
    • What changed
    • Who made changes (team workspaces)

Using Previous Versions

  1. Go to Versions tab
  2. Find version you want
  3. Click "Promote" to make active
  4. Or "View" to see contents

When to use:

  • New version has issues
  • Want to revert
  • Need to see changes
  • Testing different profiles

Enhancing with AI

Improve existing brands using AI.

Step 1: Open

  1. Go to Brands
  2. Click brand to enhance

Step 2: Enhance

  1. Click "Enhance with AI"
  2. Describe what to improve:
    • "Add more products"
    • "Refine value proposition"
    • "Add proof points"
    • "Improve target audience"

Step 3: Save

  1. Review merged result
  2. Edit as needed
  3. Click "Save" - creates new version

Deleting Brands

When to Delete

  • No longer needed
  • Created by mistake
  • Replaced by better version

How to Delete

  1. Go to Brands
  2. Click brand
  3. Click "Delete"
  4. Confirm

Warning:

  • Cannot be undone
  • May affect modules/campaigns using it
  • Check usage first

Advanced Brand Features (Pro+)

Knowledge Base

Store brand knowledge, documents, and examples:

  • Knowledge Base Entries - FAQs, guidelines, examples, references, assets
  • Documents - Upload PDFs, images, style guides, and other brand assets
  • Examples - Save example content pieces that represent your brand well

💡 Tooltip: Use the knowledge base to store detailed brand information that enhances content generation. AI uses this information when creating content.

Analytics Dashboard

Track brand health and usage:

  • Completeness Score - See how complete your brand profile is (0-100%)
  • Usage Statistics - Which modules and campaigns use this brand most
  • Quality Metrics - Content quality scores over time
  • Consistency Tracking - How well generated content matches brand

💡 Tooltip: Higher completeness scores lead to better content quality. Aim for 80%+ completeness.

AI Intelligence

Get AI-powered suggestions:

  • Completeness Analysis - Suggestions for missing fields
  • Improvement Recommendations - Best practices and enhancements
  • Inconsistency Detection - Find content that doesn't match brand
  • Example Recommendations - Suggested examples to add

💡 Tooltip: Review AI suggestions regularly to improve your brand profile over time.

Campaign & Module Configuration

Configure how campaigns and modules work with your brand:

  • Campaign Rules - Require/forbid modules, set sequences, timing rules
  • Module Configurations - Default inputs, overrides, gate configs per module
  • Content Strategy - Content pillars, mix, messaging frameworks
  • Content Calendar - Seasonal themes, event-based content, recurring schedules

💡 Tooltip: Brand configurations automatically apply when running campaigns and modules, ensuring consistency without manual setup.

Performance & Optimization

Track and optimize brand performance:

  • Performance Benchmarks - Set targets for engagement, conversion, reach
  • Content Library - Reusable snippets, templates, hooks, CTAs
  • A/B Testing - Configure A/B tests for content variants

Intelligence & Insights

Competitive intelligence and custom scoring:

  • Competitor Analysis - Track competitors, analyze positioning, identify differentiators
  • Content Scoring Rules - Custom scoring beyond standard gates

Multiple Brands

Managing Multiple Brands

If you have multiple brands (Pro: 3, Agency: 10+):

Viewing:

  • See all brands in list
  • Filter/search to find specific brands
  • Each brand is independent with its own configurations

Switching:

  • Select brand when running modules
  • Each module run uses one brand
  • Campaigns use one brand throughout
  • Brand configurations automatically apply

Comparing:

  • View details side-by-side
  • See which performs better using analytics
  • Use different brands for different purposes
  • Compare usage insights across brands

Brand Limits

Plan Limits:

  • Starter: 1 brand
  • Pro: 3 brands
  • Agency: 10 brands (base)

Add-ons:

  • Additional brands: +$40/brand/month
  • Available for all plans

Checking Usage:

  • Settings → Billing
  • See "X/Y brands used"
  • Upgrade if needed

Regular Updates

When:

  • Quarterly reviews
  • New product launches

What:

  • Add proof points
  • Update product descriptions

Troubleshooting

Can't edit brand?

  • Check role (Owner/Approver can edit)
  • Refresh page
  • Try again later
  • Contact workspace owner

Brand not showing in modules?

  • Check brand exists
  • Verify brand limit
  • Clear filters
  • Refresh page

Version issues?

  • Check Versions tab
  • Promote previous version if needed
  • Contact support if persists
