Publishing Overview

Publish your approved content directly to social media platforms without leaving CampaignOps.

What is Publishing?

Publishing lets you:

  • Connect accounts - Link social media accounts
  • Publish directly - Post to platforms from CampaignOps
  • Schedule posts - Set future publish times
  • Track status - See what's published and what failed
  • Retry failures - Automatically retry failed publishes

How Publishing Works

Step 1: Connect Accounts

  1. Go to SettingsPublishing Accounts
  2. Click "Connect Account"
  3. Select provider (Publer, Late, or Webhook)
  4. Select platform
  5. Enter credentials
  6. Test connection
  7. Save

Step 2: Approve Content

  1. Content must be approved in Review Room
  2. Approved content ready to publish

Step 3: Publish

  1. Click "Publish" on approved content
  2. Select publishing account
  3. Choose items to publish (if multiple)
  4. Schedule or publish now
  5. Track status

Publishing Options

Publish Now:

  • Immediate publishing
  • Content goes live right away
  • Good for time-sensitive content

Schedule:

  • Set future date and time
  • Plan content in advance
  • Use campaign calendar

Bulk Publish:

  • Publish multiple items at once
  • Select multiple approved items
  • Publish to multiple platforms

Publishing History

View all activity:

  • Published - Successfully published
  • Scheduled - Queued for future
  • Failed - Error occurred
  • Retrying - Automatic retry in progress

Automatic Retries

Failed publishes automatically retry:

  • 3 attempts maximum
  • Exponential backoff: 5min, 15min, 60min
  • Alerts sent on failure

Tips

  1. Connect accounts early - Set up before you need to publish
  2. Test connections - Verify accounts work
  3. Use UTM parameters - Track all published content
  4. Monitor publishing - Check history regularly
  5. Handle failures - Review and retry failed publishes
