Editing Generated Content

You can edit any generated content before approving it. Make adjustments to match your exact needs.

When to Edit

Edit when you want to:

  • Personalize - Add specific details or names
  • Fix tone - Adjust wording to match voice
  • Add information - Include details AI didn't know
  • Fix issues - Correct mistakes or inaccuracies
  • Improve quality - Enhance content that's close but not perfect

How to Edit

Step 1: Open Review Room

  1. Go to Review Room in the sidebar
  2. Find the content you want to edit
  3. Click on it to open details

Step 2: Start Editing

  1. Find content item to edit
  2. Click "Edit" (pencil icon)
  3. Text area opens

Step 3: Make Changes

  1. Edit text directly
  2. Full rich text editing supported
  3. Make changes:
    • Fix typos
    • Adjust wording
    • Add details
    • Change tone
    • Personalize

Step 4: Choose Re-gating

Re-run Quality Gates?

  • Yes - Re-run gates to update scores (5-10 seconds)
  • No - Skip gates (faster, scores won't update)

When to re-gate:

  • ✅ Major edits (meaning, tone, structure)
  • ✅ Want updated quality scores
  • ✅ Significant changes

When to skip:

  • ✅ Minor typos
  • ✅ Small wording tweaks
  • ✅ Want to save time

Step 5: Save

  1. Review changes
  2. Click "Save"
  3. Changes saved immediately
  4. Edit history tracked

Edit History

All edits tracked with timestamps.

Viewing

  1. Open content in Review Room
  2. Click "Edit History" tab
  3. See all edits:
    • What changed
    • Original → New value
    • Timestamp
    • Whether re-gated

Understanding

Shows:

  • All edits made
  • Who made changes (team workspaces)
  • When changes made
  • Original vs. new values

Useful for:

  • Tracking changes over time
  • Understanding modifications
  • Reverting if needed
  • Team collaboration

Tips

  1. Re-gate after major edits - See updated scores, ensure quality
  2. Skip gates for minor changes - Save time, focus on content
  3. Edit before approving - Faster than rejecting and re-running
  4. Personalize when needed - Add customer names, product names, metrics
  5. Maintain brand voice - Keep consistent, use your terminology

What Can Be Edited

Social Media Posts

  • Post content, captions, hashtags, CTAs

Email Content

  • Subject lines, body, CTAs, signatures

Landing Pages

  • Headlines, value propositions, features, CTAs, FAQ

Video Scripts

  • Script content, hooks, captions, hashtags

All Content Types

  • Any text field, formatting, structure, wording

Best Practices

  1. Review before editing - Read first, identify changes, plan edits
  2. Edit strategically - Focus on important changes, don't over-edit
  3. Maintain quality - Keep brand alignment, preserve good elements
  4. Re-gate when appropriate - Major edits → Re-gate, Minor → Skip
  5. Document changes - Edit history tracks everything, useful for learning

Common Scenarios

Fix tone:

  • Issue: Too formal
  • Edit: Make more casual
  • Re-gate: Yes

Add details:

  • Issue: Missing information
  • Edit: Add product name, customer name, metric
  • Re-gate: Optional

Fix typo:

  • Issue: Small typo/grammar error
  • Edit: Fix error
  • Re-gate: No

Improve CTA:

  • Issue: CTA doesn't match style
  • Edit: Replace with standard CTA
  • Re-gate: Yes

Personalize:

  • Issue: Generic content
  • Edit: Add personal touches, names
  • Re-gate: Optional

Limitations

Can't edit:

  • Module type (can't change X post to LinkedIn post)
  • Module configuration (count, format, etc.)
  • Brand used (would need to re-run)

Can edit:

  • All content text
  • Formatting, structure, wording

After Editing

Approve:

  1. Review edited content
  2. Check quality scores (if re-gated)
  3. Click "Approve"
  4. Ready to use

Export:

  1. Approve edited content
  2. Click "Export"
  3. Download in preferred format

Publish:

  1. Approve edited content
  2. Click "Publish"
  3. Publish to connected accounts

Tips

Time-saving:

  • Edit only what needs changing
  • Skip gates for minor changes
  • Efficient edits save time

Quality:

  • Re-gate after major edits
