What are Content Templates?
Templates are reusable content structures with variables.
- Select template - Choose from system templates or your own
- Fill variables - Provide values (product name, CTA, etc.)
- Template renders - Content generated with your values
- Use in modules/campaigns - Template content ready to use

How Templates Work
Using a Template
- Create campaign or edit module
- Click "Use Template"
- Browse templates (search or filter)
- Select template
- Fill variables (provide values)
- Template renders (content ready)
- Use in campaign
Template Variables
Placeholders in templates:
{{product_name}}- Replaced with actual product name{{value_proposition}}- Replaced with your value prop{{cta_url}}- Replaced with your CTA link
Example:
Template: "🚀 Exciting news! We're launching {{product_name}} - {{value_proposition}}. Get started: {{cta_url}}"
Variables:
- product_name: "ProjectPro"
- value_proposition: "AI-powered project management"
- cta_url: "https://example.com/signup"
Result: "🚀 Exciting news! We're launching ProjectPro - AI-powered project management. Get started: https://example.com/signup"
Creating Templates
- Go to Settings → Content Templates
- Click "Create Template"
- Configure:
- Name, category
- Module (which module it's for)
- Content (with variables)
- Variables (define each variable)
- Description, tags
- Click "Create"
Best Practices
- Start with system templates - Use as starting points
- Define clear variables - Use descriptive names
- Make variables required when needed - Ensure critical info provided
- Use default values - For optional variables
- Keep templates focused - One template per use case
- Add descriptions - Help team understand when to use
- Tag appropriately - Easy to find later
