Content Templates Overview

Content templates help you standardize content creation, ensure consistency, and speed up campaign setup.

What are Content Templates?

Templates are reusable content structures with variables.

  1. Select template - Choose from system templates or your own
  2. Fill variables - Provide values (product name, CTA, etc.)
  3. Template renders - Content generated with your values
  4. Use in modules/campaigns - Template content ready to use

Benefits

  • Consistency - Same structure every time
  • Speed - Faster than writing from scratch
  • Quality - Pre-tested structures

Template Variables

Placeholders in templates:

  • {{product_name}} - Replaced with actual product name
  • {{value_proposition}} - Replaced with your value prop
  • {{cta_url}} - Replaced with your CTA link

Example:

Template: "🚀 Exciting news! We're launching {{product_name}} - {{value_proposition}}. Get started: {{cta_url}}"

Variables:
- product_name: "ProjectPro"
- value_proposition: "AI-powered project management"
- cta_url: "https://example.com/signup"

Result: "🚀 Exciting news! We're launching ProjectPro - AI-powered project management. Get started: https://example.com/signup"

Creating Templates

  1. Go to Settings → Content Templates
  2. Click "Create Template"
  3. Configure:
    • Name, category
    • Module (which module it's for)
    • Content (with variables)
    • Variables (define each variable)
    • Description, tags
  4. Click "Create"

Best Practices

  1. Start with system templates - Use as starting points
  2. Define clear variables - Use descriptive names
  3. Make variables required when needed - Ensure critical info provided
  4. Use default values - For optional variables
  5. Keep templates focused - One template per use case
